United Way Mentoring Resources

Other Mentoring Resources

  • Community Impact Training Institute - United Way currently offers workshops in Mentoring via the Community Impact Training Institute.
  • MENTOR/National Mentoring Partnership - For more than a decade, MENTOR/National Mentoring Partnership has been working to expand the world of quality mentoring.
  • White-Williams Scholars Teen Philly Resource Guide - White-Williams Scholars created Teen Philly, a great resource guide for high school students (and their family, friends, and youth workers). Think of Teen Philly as a “road map” to help them locate the services they need, such as finding information on local organizations and topics like jobs, sports, arts, tutoring, and health and family services.
  • Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southeastern Pennsylvania - Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southeastern Pennsylvania's mission is to improve the lives of children and strengthen communities through professionally-supported, one-to-one mentoring relationships.
  • ASAP/After School Activities Partnerships - Created in 2002 in response to a civic outcry for help with activities for the city’s youth during the critical unsupervised hours after school, ASAP/After School Activities Partnerships has provided after school recreational and enrichment activities to Philadelphia kids in some of the poorest and most dangerous areas of the city.
