Share Your Voice - Join Our Mission – LIVE UNITED
United Way of Southeastern Pennsylvania is looking for partners to reach a greater audience in our mission to advance the common good. You can help. Join the United Way Speakers Bureau.
The Speakers Bureau is a year-round program designed to provide campaigns access to community leaders who will inform and motivate audiences to give, advocate and volunteer for United Way. Through compelling stories and images, community partners participating in the Speakers Bureau help audiences recognize how they can help mobilize the community by investing in education for children, income for families, and health for seniors.
United Way is looking for a diverse group of speakers from agencies and community partners to help in addressing donors, volunteers, corporate and community leaders. Speaking engagements include the following:
- Campaign Events - The most direct and effective way to reach an audience. Speakers present at a company campaign event. Speaking time: 7-10 minutes
- Agency Fairs - A broad approach to sharing United Way’s campaign message. Agencies showcase displays and provide materials for distribution. These fairs are usually held during lunchtime hours and are generally two hours in length.
- Agency Tour - A site visit to an agency to see day to day operations and learn more about what the agency does for the community. Tour length is set by agency.
